The cooperation among cooperatives: a principle of the past or for the future?

The 4th International Forum of Cooperative Law is organized by Iuscooperativum, with the support of GEZKI (Gizarte Ekonomia eta Zuzenbide Kooperatiboaren Institutua / Institute of Social Economy and Cooperative Law), the Faculty of Law of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA). The main theme of this Forum is: “The principle of cooperation among cooperatives: a principle of the past or for the future?”.

The Forum will take place on 29th November to 1st December 2023, in San Sebastian, Basque Country.

Format: hybrid (in person and online).

Languages: English, Spanish and Basque.

In the case of students, proof of being in official university studies (undergraduate - graduate - postgraduate - doctorate) in the 2023/24 academic year must be presented.

- Attendance to all Forum sessions
- Forum documentation and material
- Certificates of attendance and, if applicable, of presentation of papers.
- Coffee breaks
- Working lunches on November 29 and 30
- Official dinner on November 30 (if "dinner included" option is selected)
- Closing cocktail

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

¿HOW TO GET TO SAN SEBASTIÁN?

Airports: Bilbao (BIO), Donostia/San Sebastian (EAS) and Biarritz (BIQ). From either of the first two airports there are direct bus connections to Donostia/San Sebastian. The bus from Bilbao airport to Donostia/ San Sebastian is recommended to buy it previously (https://online.pesa.net/index.asp?id=es)

Train: Direct trains to/from Madrid-Chamartin and Barcelona-Sants. Via Hendaye (Euskotren connection) trains to Paris and Bordeaux.

Bus: Multiple routes with the whole peninsula and Europe.
